17th International Vulcanspeleology Symposium
February 6-12, 2016
The Proceedings are now posted!
The Symposium was attended
by about 85 particiants
The program inclucded talks at the Community Center
on Saturday afternoon, and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday,
and Friday mornings.
There field trips in the
Ocean VIew area all day on Sunday, and Monday, Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday afternoons. On Tuesday, there were field
trip to the Puna district (including the famous Kazumura
Cave), followed by a dinner and 3D slide show at the
National Park in Volcano. An optional field trip
to the National Park took place on Saturday Feb. 13.
